<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage a mobility of an IP terminal to achieve improved performance in the aspect of efficiency and costs in comparison with a conventional mobile IP system. <P>SOLUTION: The combined mobile IP system is provided while including a home agent having a main server for mutually communicating with a mobile node and a foreign agent for repeating the mutual communication between the mobile and home agents, and the foreign agent includes at least one local area composed of at least one control foreign agent for mutually communicating with the home agent and at least one paging foreign agent for mutually communicating with the control foreign agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
