摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photovoltaic device which is capable of enhancing a photo-generated current without increasing a photoelectric cell in electrostatic capacity as a whole. <P>SOLUTION: A light receiving chip 1A is composed of a semiconductor support substrate 10 and a semiconductor active layer 12 formed on one surface of the substrate 10 and arranged as confronting a light source, and is provided on the photovoltaic device. A plurality of the photoelectric cells 120 that convert optical energy emitted from the light source into electrical energy are formed along one surface of the semiconductor active layer 12, and aluminum interconnect lines 121 which electrically connect the photoelectric cells 120 with each other in series are provided on the surface of the semiconductor active layer 12 opposite to its surface facing the semiconductor support substrate 10. A recess 100 that is blocked up by a frame 21 as a reflecting member whose inner surface functions as a reflecting plane cut in the region of the semiconductor support substrate 10 confronting the photoelectric cells 120. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p>
