<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external power supply connecting device for an electric vehicle which allows connection with favorable workability and in which a connecting state is securely held even if the device receives oscillation or the like during travelling. <P>SOLUTION: The device comprises an inlet port 10, a box 6 of which the upper face is opened, and a head 7 that can be inserted and fitted to the box 6. The box 6 comprises a positioning part 11 that position-regulates by fitting the tip of the head 7, an outlet 13 arranged on the lower surface of the box, parts 18, 19 to be locked facing the inlet port and upward, respectively.
