PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide waste treatment equipment for conducting detoxification of inexpensively effecting detoxification treatment of waste produced by demolition of facilities including an incinerator and soil contaminated with dioxins and the like. SOLUTION: This equipment includes crushing means 1, 2 for reducing matters to be treated into small pieces, a melting furnace 3 for melt-treatment of crushed matters, and exhaust gas treating means 13, 14 for treating exhaust gas generated in the furnace 3. The melting furnace 3 is equipped with a reducing zone 5, where the matters are treated in reduction atmosphere, and a fluidized-bed section 7 where hard solid matters out of to-be-treated matters are subjected to fluidization treatment.
