PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially oriented polyester film having thermal dimensional stability and hardly causing reduction of peelability caused by the increase of adhesive force even if heat treatment is carried out when producing FPC. SOLUTION: The biaxially oriented polyester film comprises (A) a polyester containing 5-60 wt.% inert particles. The film has (-0.5)-0.5% heat shrinkage when the film is heat-treated at 150°C for 30 min and 10×10-6-50×10-6/°C thermal expansion coefficient at a temperature-decreasing part of 150°C to 50°C when the film is heated from 50°C to 170°C and thereafter cooled to 50°C.
