PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that carriers included in a toner are electrostatically carried by an image carrier, the carriers which are not recovered from the image carrier and the carriers flowing out of the developer arrive at a cleaning blade, at this time, the chipping of a blade occurs, the carrier invades into a blade nip part therefrom, the image carrier side is excessively injured and the defective image and the toner welding to a drum are caused. SOLUTION: In the image forming device, a contact electrifying member to which a voltage is applied is brought into contact with the image carrier and, thereby, the image carrier is electrified.
