PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging apparatus for a blade guard, which makes packaging work effective enough to save much troubles. SOLUTION: The packaging apparatus is used for packaging the blade guard 1, which comprises curved steel wires 6 arranged radially, a plurality of ring-shaped steel wires 7 connecting the steel wires 6 together, both steel wires combined to form an almost cup-shape, and fitting structures 8 for a ventilating fan, each of which is arranged to be projected circumferentially at every an identical distance inside the cup-shape. The packaging apparatus comprises a sheet-shaped, or bag-shaped, film packaging material 9 for packaging the blade guard 1, and a paper holding plate 10, which is pressed down on the packaging material 9 at the inner circumferential edge of the blade guard 1 at the opening side so as to be in closely contact with the blade guard. The holding plate 10 is locked to the fitting structures 8 of the blade guard 1, the holding plate locked or unlocked freely, and the packaged blade guard 1 including the locked holding plate 10 is encased in a corrugated cardboard box.
