摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To close an opening of a slot without enlarging an air gap between a rotor and a stator. SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine comprises divided cores 3d each having a tooth 6 and a back core 5 on the back side of the tooth and wound with a coil around the tooth 6, and a stator core 3a formed by annularly arranging the divided cores 3d so that both sides of the back core 5 are contacted with each other. In the rotary electric machine, bridges 27 are arranged so as to overhang from both ends of the tip of the tooth 6 of the divided core 3d in the circumferential direction, a sealing member 28 is sandwiched between facing tips of the bridges 27 of the adjacent divided cores 3d, and a path 15 for a cooling medium that flows in the slot 7 is formed by closing the opening 40 of the internal peripheral side of the stator 3 of the slot 7 that is formed between the teeth 6 so as to be surrounded by the sealing member 28 and the bridge 27.
