PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic component which is thinned easily, to provide a magnetic component wherein the problem that a pair of core members are likely misaligned with each other can be prevented. SOLUTION: The magnetic component 7 has a pair of core members 5a, 5b and a core fastening member 6 for combining these core members 5a, 5b. On the outer planar surface 12 of the core member 5a, retracted portions 20a, 20b are so formed respectively along both side edges of the outer planar surface 12 as to avoid an opposite portion to the disposal region of a middle core leg 11b. Portions 21a, 21b of the core fastening member 6 facing the outer planar surface 12 have such shapes as to be stored in the retracted portions 20a, 20b. Thereby, the core fastening member 6 can be disposed in a height position which is not higher than the height position of an outer planar surface portion 12A facing the middle core leg disposal region of the core member 5a. Therefore, the magnetic component 7 can be thinned in comparison with the case of disposing the core fastening member 6 on the upper side than the core member 5a. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
