New nucleic acid for polypeptide containing trimerization domain and epitopes, useful for vaccination against e.g. infectious disease or tumors, improves peptide antigenicity

Nucleic acid (I) encoding a recombinant polypeptide (II) that contains, at least in part, (a) the primary sequence of the trimerization sequence (TS) of an invariant chain (IC) and (b) at least one primary sequence of a specific T cell epitope and a specific B cell epitope. (II) does not contain the transmembrane region of IC. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) vector that contains (I); (2) host cell that contains (I) or the vector of (1); (3) (II); and (4) method for preparing antibodies or antigen-specific T cells by introducing, into an animal, (I), the vector of (1) or (II).
