POWDER COATING COMPOSITION, PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND COATING FILM MADE FROM THE SAME

A powder coating composition which contains a flaky pigment and which has excellent suitability for recycling, is highly safe, and gives a coating film having metallic sheen, gloss, brightness, etc. It comprises thermosetting resin particles and a flaky pigment which comprises aluminum flakes having an average particle diameter of 1 to 100 µm and is bonded to the surface of the resin particles with a pressure-sensitive adhesive binder comprising a resin soluble in a solvent in which the thermosetting resin is insoluble.
