A throttle disk (1) has a blind port (2), through which material is thinned down, before a proper throttling port (3) is produced by means of laser beam drilling. The throttle disk has non-penetrating recesses to define an opening cross section limiting through-flow. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) A method for producing a throttle disk; (b) and for a throttle device with a flat bearing surface to build up a pressure to exert a closing force on an injector needle; (c) and for a pump-jet unit for delivering fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine.
