The multi clutch transmission comprises a drive gear (1), two drive shafts (11, 12), an output shaft (10) and at least two auxiliary clutch units, each with toothed wheels (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) arranged along the shaft (11, 12) which can be connected by the particular power shift transmission unit (A, B) to the drive shafts (11, 12) as required. The power shift transmission unit (A, B) not used in the transmission process is activated in order to synchronize the gears (4, 6, 7, 9) attached to the particular shaft (11, 12).
