<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for decorating a photograph on a glass surface which can print a sharp photograph image on the surface of a weathering-resistant, durable, and safe glass surface. <P>SOLUTION: This method for decorating a photograph on a glass surface includes a primer step of spray-coating a solvent-type acrylic acid copolymer resin layer or a modified polyester resin layer onto the whole area of a glass surface and then drying the coating, an undercoating step of conducting flow coating of an undercoating agent comprising a hydrophilic resin onto the upper surface of the primer layer and then drying the coating, an imaging step of printing a design, which has been previously provided in a digital image form, by means of a sink jet-type thick material ink jet direct printer and then drying the print, and a top treatment step of spray-coating a solvent-type top coating agent urethane or acrylic resin coating clear onto the printed face. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
