<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clipping service providing device capable of reflecting the intention of an information provider side in a clipping service for selecting/editing information and providing it to a user. <P>SOLUTION: This clipping service providing server 101 is provided with a selection item storage means for storing items selected according to the desires of users for each of those users, and configured to select the items stored in the selection item storing means from among the information of a plurality of items provided from the information providing device of an information provider, and to provide the items to user terminal equipment. This device is provided with an intention reflecting means for receiving information provider side intention information indicating the intention of the information provider side related with the selection of the items from the provision information setting terminal equipment, and for deciding or changing the items stored in the selection item storing means according to the information provider side intention information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
