<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a size and a cost of a lighting device equipped in a lighting system. <P>SOLUTION: An input port 28 is used in common to read respective outputs from a pull-switch circuit 23, and from a pull wall switch circuit 22, in a microcomputer 27 equipped in the lighting system. In the microcomputer 27, the number of ports is reduced by outputting a switching signal for conducting switching among four kinds of switching modes, as a digital signal of two bits, from output parts 29 and 30.
