PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drift electronic mail server apparatus and an advertisement distribution method using drift electronic mail capable of distributing advertisement using a drift electronic mail for a medium so as to efficiently and meticulously distribute the advertisement to recipients appropriate to distribution destinations. SOLUTION: A drift mail center (server) 1-1 is provided onto the Internet to cooperate management / distribution of advertisements with distribution of drift mail. The drift mail center (server) 1-1 receives an advertisement whose distribution is requested from a terminal 1-2 of an advertisement provider, attaches the advertisement to the drift mail transmitted from a terminal 1-3b of an unspecified drift mail sender and distributes the resulting mail to terminals 1-3a, 1-3b, 1-3c of drift mail recipients registered in advance. The sender of the drift mail transmits the drift mail while designating the attribute such as an age group, sex, and area of recipients, the advertisement provider designates the attribute of recipients being advertisement distribution destinations, and distributes the drift electronic mail with the advertisement attached thereto to recipients whose attributes are coincident with each other.
