PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving picture storage apparatus that hardly provides a unpleasant sense due to undubbed parts to a user when reproducing moving picture data including the undubbed parts. SOLUTION: When dubbing moving picture data stored in a first storage medium to a second storage medium of the moving picture storage apparatus, the moving picture storage apparatus stores a start point and an end point of moving picture data of the undubbed parts as undubbed information. When reproducing dubbed moving picture data in the second storage medium, a present reproduction point is acquired (S1301), a list of undubbed parts is created on the basis of the undubbed information (S1302), after contents of the list are rearranged in the order possibly reproduced on the basis of the present reproduction point (S1303), re-dubbing is performed (S1304). Since the moving picture data are reproduced while dubbing the range of the moving picture data whose dubbing is not finished, an unpleasant sense of reproduction can be reduced.
