PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum valve which can be easily manufactured by a simple manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A conducting coil of the vacuum valve is produced by the step including the plastic working accompanied by torsion. Namely, a rod of a high-resistant material 11 is pierced to form three through-holes in its eccentric part with respect to the axial direction. Rods of a high-conductive material 10 are inserted into the through-holes to produce a composite rod shown in (a) of the figure and comprising the high-conductive material 10 and the high-resistant material 11. Then, torsion is added to this composite rod to form a composite shown in (b) of the figure in which the high-conductive material 10 is in a spiral shape. This composite is cut in round slices to produce a disk-like conducting coil. In this way, the vacuum valve can be easily manufactured by producing the conducting coil by subjecting, for example, a rod to plastic working without requiring any complex cutting working.
