PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocurable adhesive composition for optical uses having a high refractive index, good curability and high adhesive strength, and especially preferably used as the photocurable adhesive. SOLUTION: This photocurable adhesive composition comprises a mercapto compound having at least two thiol terminal groups, a compound having at least two epoxy groups and a phenylsulfide structure, a photopolymerization initiator and a photosensitizer, and further comprises at least an organosilicon compound as an additive.
