PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asphalt modifier excellent in asphalt solubility and to provide an asphalt composition excellent in adhesive property with aggregate using the modifier. SOLUTION: The asphalt modifier has at least one functional group selected from carboxylic acid- or its anhydride- and epoxy-radical and comprise a polyolefinic resin of an average molecular weight of 500-10,000, and the asphalt composition comprises the modifier and asphalt.
