TRANSPARENT FLAME-RETARDANT RESIN COMPOSITION AND RESIN MOLDING USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin molding using a halogen-free resin composition which is applied to a part so as to distinguish the inside of the part and has transparency, flame retardance and flexibility. SOLUTION: The transparent flame-retardant resin composition comprises 100 parts wt. of a styrene-based resin having≥40 wt.% and≤90 wt.% styrene content and≥50 parts wt. and≤180 parts wt. of a metal hydroxide. Two or more kinds of styrene-containing resins mixed so as to have the range of the styrene content are preferably used as the styrene-based resin. Magnesium hydroxide or aluminum hydroxide is preferably used as the metal hydroxide. The resin molding having≤1 mm thickness is preferably used. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
