PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new herbicidal granule composition for paddy fields improved in the solubility of a herbicidal active ingredient to water, and to provide a method for producing the composition. SOLUTION: This herbicidal granule composition comprises (1) the herbicidal active ingredient≤0.5 ppm in solubility to water at 20°C and≥70°C in melting point, (2) a hydrophobic organic solvent and (3) a solid vehicle.
