PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a foam aerosol composition for hair treatment with no fear of unnecessarily running or splashing when applied to the hair and affording firm hair dressing effect without damaging the hair, and to provide a hair treatment method. SOLUTION: The foam aerosol composition comprises cysteamine hydrochloride, a surfactant, a macromolecular compound for hair dressing and a propellant, and is adjusted to be weakly acidic or weakly alkaline in pH level.
