COATING AGENT FOR PREVENTING MALODOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating agent for preventing malodor which permits uniform and easy coating of the surfaces of malodorous substances such as organic fertilizers and has a high effect to prevent the diffusion of the malodors. SOLUTION: The coating agent for preventing the malodor is prepared by mixing at least either of limonene and pinene with edible oil. The viscosity of the edible oil can be made lower by the dissolution of the limonene or the pinene and the coating agent can be easily mixed with the malodorous substances without lumping by using a method of spraying etc., so that the coating agent for preventing the malodor is uniformly coated on the surfaces of the malodorous substances.
