SUPERFINE LEAD OXIDE POWDER AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide superfine lead oxide powder which has smaller primary particle diameters and secondary particle diameters, and to provide its production method. SOLUTION: A solvent is added to lead oxide powder (lead monoxide or trilead tetraoxide) containing secondary particles produced by flocculation sintering to form lead oxide powder slurry. The lead oxide powder slurry is subjected to wet pulverization. The lead oxide powder slurry after the wet pulverization step is dried to obtain flocculated lead oxide powder. The flocculated lead oxide powder is disintegrated, so that the superfine lead oxide powder is obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
