PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a conventional type body structure for a vehicle and to provide the body structure optimized in a range of a cabin and a roll bar device for high load bearing characteristics, light weight and low-cost manufacture. SOLUTION: The body structure for the vehicle is of a type equipped with the roll bar device extending laterally with respect to the body structure. In this structure, a wall structure 12 of a cabin 4 and the roll bar device 19 extending adjacently to occupant seats 8, 9 are formed of nonmetallic material, for instance, fiber-reinforced plastics, and are structurally integrated not to be disassemble.
