PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of restraining shoulder blow-out failure. SOLUTION: A ratio of an air outflow resistance coefficient R1from an inside of a tire to a carcass cord of a carcass layer and an air outflow resistance coefficient R2from the carcass cord to an outside of the tire at a part wherein a tire total thickness is the thinnest in a region from a grounding end of a tread part to a tire maximum width is expressed as follows; R2/R1≥0.1.
