PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reclining device of a car seat, which can be easily operated by an operating knob even for passengers with wide variety of ages including the passenger weak in muscle power. SOLUTION: A cylindrical rising wall 70b having an axis line of a lock pin 4 as a center, is provided at a boss part 70b of an operating knob 70, a cylindrical strike 9 is provided on a plate surface of a single bracket 2 in opposed relation to the rising wall 70b of the operating knob 70, cam parts 10a, 10b in a form matching to each other in the height corresponding at least to the stroke movement of the lock pin 4 are provided on surfaces opposite to the rising wall 70b and the strike 9 respectively, and the operating knob 70 is installed in such a manner that the lock pin 4 can be removed from fitting holes 1a-1c by a rotating operation.
