A coating suspension having a uniform viscosity is produced by mixing at a ratio of 0.8-1.2:1 (a) a homogeneous mixture of 10-40 parts by wt. alkali-fluoroborate, 30-50 parts alkali fluorosilicate, 10-25 parts animal or vegetable oil(s) or fat(s) having a m.p. >30 degrees, 8-15 parts mineral lubricating oil(s), 5-15 parts of a chlorinated paraffin having a chlorine content of 40-70%, and 3-8 parts of a surfactant with (b) a homogeneous mixture of solvents, consisting of 50-60 parts by wt. mineral lubrication oil(s), 30-40 parts non-inflammable solvent(s), and 10-20 parts of naphthenates and/or stearates. |
