PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable portable terminal with an imaging function which is made user-friendly by making an imaging direction of an imaging section the same as a direction of a user's visual line. SOLUTION: The portable terminal 20 is provided with a first case 4, a second case 5 and a hinge 8 wherein the first and second cases 4, 6 are freely foldably configured by a hinge 8, the imaging section 10 is provided in the second case 6 or the hinge 8 and an image display section 12 to display a video image imaged by the imaging section 10 is provided in the first cases 2, and the portable terminal 20 is provided with imaging direction communication 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, and 40 for changing an imaging direction of the imaging section 10 depending on a folded angle between the first and second cases 2, 4.
