The transfer device transfers printed products by means of a scoop wheel device with several rotating scoop wheels (12a), a conveyor chain (03) carrying several grips (06), and a diverting wheel (01) between two of the scoop wheels, with the conveyor chain round it. The scoop wheel axles are angled against the diverting wheel axle.
