<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic apparatus for measurement that accurately measures the area of a fracture occurring in the edge of an examinee. <P>SOLUTION: This endoscopic apparatus 1 for measurement has an electronic endoscope 2, optical adapters 7a, 7b and 7c of more than one kind, a CCU 9 generating image signals in response to imaging signals, a control unit 10 equipped with a CCU 18 having a measuring section 18a carrying out measurements on the basis of the image signals, and an LCD (liquid crystal display) 5 displaying images. An edge fracture measuring section 18b measuring the area of the fracture in the edge of the examinee provided in the measuring section 18a, a first reference line setting section 18c setting a first reference line corresponding to the top face of the edge before fracture, a first reference plane setting section 18d setting a first reference plane intersecting the first reference line at one point specified by the first reference line setting section 18c in accordance with the top face in the surrounding of the edge before fracture, a profile line setting section 18e forming a fracture profile line of the fractured edge and an arithmetic section 18f computing the area of the region surrounded by the first reference line and the first reference plane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
