<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bipolar plate for polymer electrolyte fuel cell that is inexpensive, corrosion resistant, and excellent in processability and handling. <P>SOLUTION: In a polymer electrolyte fuel cell having a cooling equipment attached to the bipolar plate, a pair of reaction poles holding a solid polymer electrolyte film, is held by the pair of bipolar plates for supplying and exhausting fuel gas and oxidyzing agent gas to a reaction pole.
