PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat runner having a sufficient mechanical strength against a force which tends to separate the first and the second runner materials. SOLUTION: This is a runner for automobile seat having a material which is equipped with a fin(10)connected to a right-angled base part(11) to the runner itself,and the first runner material is equipped with a metal separating materials(17, 18) having a fin wall(19, 20)individually. The fin walls of the first and the second separating materials are fixed together through their own main surfaces as they contact each other to form the fins of the runner materials. The first separating material is farther equipped with a base wall(22) connected by a round flexure part (21) to the fin wall of the first separating material which works together with the second separating material to form a slot(23). The runner material is farther equipped with a bridge material(25) which covers the slot to forms a direct and rigid mechanical connection between the base walls of the first and the second separating materials.
