PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volume adjuster of video/acoustic device which can easily adjust the volume to a volume favorable for a user, has satisfactory operability and does not result in the large memory size so much. SOLUTION: The volume controller of video/acoustic device is provided with a reloadable nonvolatile memory which stores a table representing the relationship between a volume indication value of the predetermined number of steps and the voice output level in accordance with the volume indication value, a means of performing volume adjustment of voice on the basis of a volume indication value inputted by the user and the content of the table in the nonvolatile memory and a means of changing the setting of the voice output level for each volume indication value on the table in the nonvolatile memory.
