PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator having a storage chamber for cooling capable of avoiding slackening of an intra-chamber light. SOLUTION: The refrigerator is equipped with an intra-chamber light socket 3 attached in the chamber and the intra-chamber light 2 to be mounted in the socket 3 and works using a combustible refrigerant, wherein the socket 3 is furnished with a receptacle 8 whereto the base 2A of the light 2 is screwed, and the space is sealed where a terminal 2C at the forefront of the base 2A and a contacting piece 11 on the side with the receptacle 8 touch together upon touching with the whole periphery of the light 2 before the terminal 2C and the contacting piece 11 touch together during the process that the base 2A is screwed into the receptacle 8, and further a holding part 5 in a cylindrical shape is provided to admit screwing-in of the intra-chamber light 2 even after the touching.
