PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable communication terminal capable of downloading an electronic mail (E-mail) surely and easily and performing file management after the download easily as well. SOLUTION: The terminal is provided with a download decision means for requesting from a mail management means a mailing list which lists a capacity of an attached file, deciding whether or not the E-mail is received in accordance with the capacity of the attached file when the mailing list is received and deciding a medium of a storage part for storing the attached file, a file separation means for separating the attached file from the received E-mail, and a file management means for managing the attached file separated by the file separation means.
