PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment capable of performing a test by low-cost test equipment. SOLUTION: This electronic equipment is connectable by a serial bus standard having signal wires D+ and D- and a shielding wire 21, and comprises a receiver part 22 receiving a signal from the wire line 21, a determination part 23 connected to the receiver part 22 and determining the received signal, and a test control part 24 performing a self test based on the result of the determination.
