PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piping supporting metal fitting capable of effectively preventing such an accident that an upper support plate is loosened off even when piping is vibrated by water hammering. SOLUTION: This piping supporting metal fitting is so formed that one bolt hole in the upper support plate is formed in a closed elongated hole, and the other bolt hole is formed in an elongated hole having an open part and a hooking part, or both bolt holes are formed in elongated holes having the open parts and the hooking parts, and the upper support plate inserted onto the bolts is slid along the elongated holes so that the locking position thereof to the bolts is formed in the hooking part to prevent the upper support plate from being disengaged from the bolts. The piping support metal fitting comprises a mechanism capable of preventing the upper support plate from being disengaged from the bolts by reverse sliding by disposing a locking mechanism between the upper support plate and a lower support plate.
