PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practically crisscross fastener which is composed of less components and is low in cost and furthermore fascinates to transfer parts in working field as well as operation to fasten nuts without requiring a number of efforts and prolonged construction time and is capable of fastening them equally. SOLUTION: In the crisscross fastener of a wire rope which fastens a intersection portion of a crisscross extended pair of the wire ropes 50, a plate 20 is formed with two through holes 22 for U-shaped bolt insertion in two corners on substantial diagonals. It is further uprightly provided with rods 22, 23 for anti-slippage of the wire ropes on upper surface of the two corners on other substantial diagonals and is formed with a hole 21 for anti-slippage of the wire rope on the center of its upper surface. The fastener consists of such a plate 20, the U-shaped bolt 30 inserted from the upper surface of the plate 20 downwards through the two through holes 22 which is formed on the plate 20 and the nuts 40 which fixes the bolt 30 to the plate 20.
