PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a driving-in device activated by combustion power, which realizes outstanding heat efficiency, has a simple structure, does not need a large structure space, and is manufactured at relatively low cost. SOLUTION: A driving-in device for driving in fixed elements, such as spikes, bolts and pins, is equipped with a main combustion chamber (11) for burning compressible fuel, a driving piston (15) installed in a piston guide member (17) and driven by expanding gas for moving from the main combustion chamber (11) to a drive-in direction (40) of the fixed elements, and an anterior chamber (20) for producing pressure acting to the main combustion chamber (11) before an ignition (19) of air/fuel mixture in the main combustion chamber (11). The anterior chamber (20) is formed by an inner space of the piston guide member (17) starting from the initial position (30) of the driving piston (15) and bordering on a far side surface (16) to the main combustion chamber (11), and is connected at least briefly to the main combustion chamber (11).
