PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod which can easily be stored, facilitates an operation for inserting a fishing line, and connects rod bodies in a normal connection form. SOLUTION: The rod bodies of the fishing rod is connected in a normal connection form. A fixed guide 10 and slidable guides 11 are mounted on the peripheral surface of each of a butt rod 1, a middle rod 2, and an ear tip rod 3. The axial length of the middle rod 2 is longer by the approximately total axial length of the fixed guide 10 and the slidable guides 11 mounted on the peripheral surface than that of the butt rod 1. The axial length of the ear tip rod 3 is also longer by the approximately total axial length of the top guide 12 and the slidable guides 11 than that of the middle rod 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
