Method for determining the flow rate in a pump

During a pump's operation, a motor is switched off periodically by an electric/electronic drive. When switched off, it detects voltages (1-3) induced in the motor and uses the induced voltages detected by an analog-digital transformer to determine the amount of through-flow for a liquid by using a span of time for the induced voltages and by comparing this span with a reference curve. An independent claim is also included for a pump for conveying a liquid with a permanently excited synchronous motor in a micro-controller and electronic devices for controlling a motor.
