<p>The indicator light includes a lamp (2), a reflector (3), and a cover glass (6). An additional intermediate screen carries a series of prisms (7c) on one surface, and a series of colored seatings on the opposite surface. Light leaving the lamp passes through clear areas between the color zones, whilst externally the lamp cover appears colored. The indicator light for a motor vehicle comprises a lamp (2) and a reflector (3), with a cover glass (6). Between the cover glass and the reflector there is an optical screen (5), and then between this and the glass there is an additional intermediate screen. On its face directed towards the optical screen there is a series of prisms (7c), and on the surface facing the glass there is a series of seatings (10) filled with a colored material (9). These seatings are lined up with the prisms. Between the prisms there are plane uncolored zones (8). The action of the prisms is such as to ensure that the light emerging from the lamp is channeled through the uncolored zones (8).</p> |
