[Also in Divisions C3 and C4] A process for the stabilisation of an enzymatic powder medicament in an aerosol container comprises mixing the enzymatic powder with an excipient consisting of a polyalcohol and placing the mixture in an aerosol container together with an inert propellant. The enzyme may be a protease, decarboxylase, catalase, or hyaluromidase; the excipient may be lactose, and may include magnesium stearate; the propellant may be a mixture of chlorofluorinated hydrocarbons. |
