A computerized system for extraction and transportation of MOX fuel rods distinctively from the other nuclear fuel rods, wherein each rod is assigned a virtual label or a tangible label to indicate it is a MOX nuclear fuel rod or it is a fuel rod other than a MOX fuel rod, the system being provided with means having a function to identify a rod is a MOX nuclear fuel rod or it is a fuel rod other than a MOX fuel rod, the function being realized by employing the virtual label or the tangible label, and the system being provided with a function to transport the MOX fuel rods respectively from the other fuel rods to different depots .
