Disclosed is a system for transmitting audio data from a transmitter (1) to a receiver (2) in radio data communication. On detecting a non-audio data area of a predetermined amount of data, a non-audio detection unit (13) included in the transmitter (1) notifies a communication control unit (12) of the detection. The communication control unit (12) disconnects the radio communication connection with the receiver (2) for a period corresponding to the non-audio period (non-audio data area).
