A rack (1,fig 1) supports an electronic assembly (2,fig 1) which can be slid out of the rack (1,fig 1) on runners (fig 2). Cables 50, which run from the back of the electronic assembly (2,fig 1) are connected to the rear of the rack (1,fig 1). To ensure that the cables 50 do not become entangled or abraded as the assembly (2,fig 1) slides, two pivoting arms 34, 36 support the cable along its length. The arms 34, 36 are place one on top of the other and have a pivot pin 52. The cable 50 runs along the length of the arms and also along the direction of pivoting provided by the pin 52. This arrangement allows less space to be taken up by the arms than those arrangements where the arms are placed side by side.
