PURPOSE: A system using time displaying system, a computer and a method for the same are provided to display a total time that an electronic product or a computer has been used since it is turned on so that it measures a life span of the electronic product or the computer. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a RAM(2), a monitor(12), a display controller(9), a hard disc drive(8), an ID controller(7), a CPU(1), and a fluorescent display device(5). The RAM(2) stores data, and the monitor(12) displays the data. The display controller(9) controls the monitor(12). The hard disc drive(8) stores an operating system, a control program, and time data. The ID controller(7) controls the hard disc drive(8). The CPU(1) updates the time data stored at the hard disc drive(8) at every one hour by controlling the ID controller(7) when the system is used. The CPU(1) displays the updated time data. The fluorescent display device(5) receives control signals from the CPU(1) and displays the time.
